Okay, nachdem ich das unten zu sehende Video angeschaut habe, habe ich doch ein bisschen Schiss vor Ameisen... Wieso? Ich erkläre es euch.Kinder spielen gerne mit Wasser und Sand. Das gibt wunderbaren Matsch in dem man sich wunderbar vollsauen kann und Spaß ohne Ende hat. Sollten dann auch noch zufällig ein paar Ameisen des Weges kommen, dann lernen die unfreiwillig das Schwimmen.
Wenn Wissenschaftler das machen, dann in einem größeren Rahmen. Die begnügen sich nicht mit Matsch und ein paar zufällig vorbeikommenden Ameisen, die pumpen einen ganzen Ameisenbau in der Steppe mit Unmengen von Beton voll und lassen das austrocknen. Ein paar Tage später, wenn alles hart ist, wird die Schippe ausgepackt und das Gebilde ausgebuddelt.
Und hier setzt meine neu entwickelte Paranoia ein. Die kleinen Tierchen bauen nicht einfach mal so munter drauf los, die erschaffen sich ein unterirdisches Metropolis mit Autobahnen, Shopping-Mall und Fresstempeln! Dabei sind die doch so klein! Was, wenn die evolutionsbedingt mal wieder größer werden!? Hilfe!!!

Das Video habe ich schon bei Gilly (blog.gilly.ws) gesehen und frage mich, ob die vorher den ganzen Staat evakuiert haben? Wäre echt übel, wenn nicht. Denn dann hätten die Herren Forscher einige Millionen Lebewesen auf dem Gewissen!
AntwortenLöschenDa man im Video sehen kann, wie noch einige Ameisen über den einbetonierten Staat krabbeln, gehe ich mal davon aus, dass die es mit der Evakuierung nicht so genau genommen haben :( "Für die Wissenschaft" rechtfertigt ja in der Regel viele abstruse Handlungen... Und am Ende haben es sich ein paar überlebende Ameisen gemerkt, geben die Story weiter und wenn sie dann erst einmal wieder größer werden, dann... o.O
